The Quad Lock® universal adapter can stick directly to your smartphone, cases and most flat metal or plastic surfaces, and is compatible with all Quad Lock® mounts.

Surface Guidelines

The Quad Lock Universal Adapter uses 3M™ VHB 4952 adhesive that bonds to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:

• Plastics like PC, ABS, PVC, nylon and acrylic.
• Unpainted metals
• Uncoated glass

Adhesive will not adhere to the following substrates:

• Rubber, TPU, TPE
• Leather
• Silicone
• Hydrophobic coated glass (also known as anti-fingerprint glass, found on the back of most modern smartphones)
• Soft touch coating or paint
• Low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal and HDPE.
• Drink

We highly recommend using a case with the universal adapter if your phone has a glass back.

Please ensure the media is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the universal adapter.
